Awful, just awful for Fiala. You'd honestly have to give us either Hughes/Hischier or the 4th OA pick. I'm not saying Fiala is necessarily worth those, but this demonstrates how you would have to give up A LOT to pry him out of Minnesota.

If you're talking about the NoDeke guy, he's not a Wild fan from everything I can see, and his series of threads were all completely terrible for the Wild. Not where I'd be looking to rip ideas from.

Fair enough, thanks for the heads up. And that was a bad series of acgm's just wasnt obvious he wasnt a wild fan

I'd love Fiala...and would probably pay more than most Devils for him.
He is tailor-made for the system the Devils are trying to build around speed and possession.
And he has had great chemistry with Hischier.

But Jack and Nico would never be on the table...and that's true for just about any player.

The 4th overall I could be talked into if we pick up a d-man or two before the draft.
The 29th overall I'd move in a heartbeat for him.

Yeah he’s a 24 year old gamebreaker who has 94 pts in his last 114 games while playing with cones for linemates. If he’s not returning a very solid center, he likely isn’t being moved. But hypothetically if he were to go for futures, it’s definitely costing more than just a 1st.

I don't see any logical reason for Chicago to do that, other than to put together a second pairing of brothers. And NJ's Boqvist seems like a slightly less brighter bulb than ours does...

There is plenty of shine left from Jesper.
He was out of place in Hynes system.
But looked pretty good in 2nd half this year.
I think he starts year as favorite for our 3C.
Plays a very fast game. Will be interesting if he takes next step.

Fair enough, I actually watched him play once and wasn't impressed, but as sample sizes go, that's pretty ****e. Have to give him another look.
