VAN has no need for yet another purely offensive LD.

Dreidger will fetch at least 3M if not 3.5M like he is said to be asking. He also will not want to be in a back-up role. Sign a veteran to a cheaper deal who can provide support when required. Campbell has proven himself to be given a chance to be in the starters crease for a 'normal' regular season cycle.

Rielly could be used in a better deal, Sandin is not strong enough yet to jump into top pairing minutes.

Not to mention, JT Miller and Nate Schmidt both have terrible contracts. Could easily use that 11M elsewhere.

Saad would be a nice acquisition but he will be signed to an overpayment by some desperate GM.

In what world does JT Miller have a horrible contract? Schmidt’s isn’t even terrible either although he’s slightly overpaid

Rielly is light years better than either though.
