If Dubas pulled a under the table deal with seattle

Description
Maybe if Dubas made an under-the-table handshake deal where Seattle takes Dermott or holl and the leafs throw a second in there to make sure they can use Kerfoot as good trade bate to get darcy and garlands rights from arz. Garland signs a 3-4 year bridge deal so he can go into free agency when the cap goes up and get paid. Are maybe retains less on the darcy deal around1-2 million instead, but I think it's a decent deal, maybe leafs throw another prospect into it. Having Nick back is important as he helps with the loss of hymans play style a bit. He's got a lot to prove and will be giving it his all this year. Give me some feedback if u think anything is overly egregious.

So essentially a 1st for Garland and Kuemper + retention? No thank you. It will be a lot more.

Didn't Dubas protect Holl?? why would he pay Seattle to take him? Or does Holl have a NMC that he never waived?

I don't see this love for Foligno, especially at centre. Depending on Sandin/Liljegren to play the top six and Dermot to play the right side. That's iffy for me, and when one or two gets injured...not really replacement.

If this was the case then why didn't they just protect 7-3-1? The best players available in that case would be Dermott and Holl and the leafs wouldn't have to pay a 2nd

So the logic here is that Dubas wen't 4-4-1 to protect Holl. When he could have went 7-3-1 and protected both Kerfoot and McCann. But then he is going to pay a 2nd for Seattle to take Holl.

Makes sense.

Garland and Kumpher arent resigning I'm pretty sure darcy told them he ain't so better to get something or them both. Ur acting like Arizona isn't a wasteland right now where they are in disarray lol. It's a fair deal maybe the leafs send another B- to B prospect over lol other than that it's fair for sure. Coyotes are not tryna spend to cap they probably have a small internal cap considering they aren't the biggest market and their ownership isn't the greatest. Somewhere around 65-75 mill in real money is their cap and Kerfoot's contract is all but paid off already lol. ARZ would do the deal
