Honeslty i just picked Seattle as a filler team for the value. I think Kerfoot could go to a team on the cusp and would love a guy who can play in every scenario. That team will also have cap space so they could resign him for not much more than his Cap hit this year

The ducks will ask for more in that Comtois deal. Darcy signs for more than 5 mill he wants a 6 by 6 like grubauer. 5.5-5.75 is probably more likely especially because he just won a cup so add that cup tax into it aswell.

running it back for the most part
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMBL</b></div><div>Agree with the Dube point. Moving Mrazek for a second or third isn't too bad imo.
I think Sandin requests a trade if they are being that aggressive with him, since he already has concern about his playing opportunity, and I don't think he would be excited to play on his off-side as well. Likewise, Liljegren would probably be upset as well, and demand a King's Ransom when his contract expires after the two years. Probably would lead to poor performance for both this season.
As for Myers, I think the Leafs would love to sign him if NSH buys him out if they trade for him they would keep him as a 7th D
I don't like the Domi signing, that's a lot of money for an unknown. He might struggle in Toronto or he might do great. I don't think the Leafs can afford that type of gamble</div></div>
I don't think sandin and liligren will command more then 1.2 mill each and sandin did miss a decent chunk of time so his value could be diminished during the contract talks. Domi was just someone who i thought could fit as a bunting type player whos looking to rebound. I personally would want nichuskin or nick paul. But idk what the leafs think tbh. They are both those power forward type of players that can score.

So askarov is that far away from being a competent back up?

I think the calgary trade is decent but id think calgary may want slightly more. But knowing treliving hed still do that. The max domi deal is unreasonable. Hes not gonna take that big of a pay cut. If he is he's gonna want a guarantee to be a top 6 guy to build his reputation back up and then go chase the bag later. I think 3-3.5 mill for a year or 2 is the deal that makes sense but he's gotta play in that top 6.

I agree sabers wouldn't do any favours but anything involving a 1st or maybe even a second is out of the equation. Sabers wont be sniffing near the playoffs for a bit. Taking a chance on a guy who would be gone in 2 years, who could turn into a decent return at the trade deadline. It is a risk I think Sabers could take but who knows lol its just speculation

Mrazeks risk to reward balance is why I think he's still a 1a/b in this league. Injuries aside it would be 1 year after next season left and if it doesn't work out its a buyout for a year or 2. Signifcant compensation wouldn't be a 1st. Maybe maximum a second or a B+ prospect, but at that point you swallow the bullet and do a buyout

I realized that after seeing his point total. But it had a lot to do with who he was playing with. MY thinking is that u sign a short-term deal if ur valarei. Play with similar quality linemates and then after 2-3 years of 60-point production GO get PAID!!!! Because he can move up to play with manner and Matthews and play up and down the lineup. Also, love the uncle Leo DP

Fair enough but I looked at there goalie situation. And thought they could take a shot. I guess leafs would add a pick or a B level prospect to make it go through.

Nick is going to get around 3 mill that's what i expect. I gave him a 1 year deal to come back and try this again properly. Also the haula deal is very veryyyyy fair considering his pay from the last couple of years. This is bargin bin shopping for UFA. Halua is like the 9-10 best center available and so is foligno. I think its a legit mix

Alex Kerfoot can not be ur shutdown center going into next year ffs. Either trade him or move him to top 6 LW that's when he's at his best. Ill say this till I'm blue in the face they need a legit third line center not named kerfoot.

Garland and Kumpher arent resigning I'm pretty sure darcy told them he ain't so better to get something or them both. Ur acting like Arizona isn't a wasteland right now where they are in disarray lol. It's a fair deal maybe the leafs send another B- to B prospect over lol other than that it's fair for sure. Coyotes are not tryna spend to cap they probably have a small internal cap considering they aren't the biggest market and their ownership isn't the greatest. Somewhere around 65-75 mill in real money is their cap and Kerfoot's contract is all but paid off already lol. ARZ would do the deal

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ZachHymanForTheHart</b></div><div>If Coleman is gonna get overpaid, why should we be the guys to overpay him?</div></div>
I think he provides a lot. His scoring ability in the regular season and playoffs. His ability to play in a scoring or shutdown role. His ability to kill penalties will be needed if kerfoot gets selected. Coleman is truly worth around 3.5-4 mill but a slight overpay isn't that bad because we can pay him real cash upfront. I think it's a fair deal tbh overpay might've not been the right word. Premium is better.

Didnt know that there was a condition on that second-rounder lol. The reason I did that trade was cause ken holland is a bean so I would try fleecing him. Its the same thing I would do to Jim benning
