        no doubt in my mind maatta is a good defensemen but he doesn't fit Pittsburghs up tempo style of play. habs need a good LHD to replace Markov. a late first round pick is fair.

        1- grubauer is not ready to be a 60 game nhl starter. Vegas could select both to have a starter now and for the future
        2-hes struggled this year. I would agree with you last year thats what he's worth but he's been rather inconsistent. has some games where he plays like a clear cut #2 and others where he is a bottom pairing / extra.

        Vegas should leave Fleury alone. Pick up Grubauer and then sign Darling as an FA. You have a 2 goalies who will challenge each other and you are good for a few years.

        Also, I don't see Vegas going after Schultz, he's an okay d-man. Better to take a Forward you has experience and can help out the team in the long run, someone like Hagelin

        Määttä is subpar and the only way you get a 1st round pick for him, is if another teams panics.

        Pittsburgh will have to buy out Fleury. Only way Fehr goes is if it's in a bigger deal.

        Curious as to why Vegas would want to take fleury? They aren't going to contend next year or maybe even the year after. Why would they want him? Sign younger goalies like darling, get grubs. And let them fight over the spot and develop. They aren't going to pay that much for a mentor almost.

        They need to reach the cap and fleury is still a good starting goaltender. Like I have said a million times before one bad season does not mean you're a bad player

        I think the Pens sign Schultz, move Maatta, and protect Letang/Dumo/Schultz.

        No way fleury is better than bishop. Also, the way howard is plaing this year we will be picked over fleury.
