I agree it's not enough for Meier but I wouldn't even for Mercer or Holtz for Meier one for one

First off you've only a 20 man roster and no cap space, So if you get short term injuries you've 0 cap to cover it to bring up players. Also you just blocked Alexander Holtz here between the Landeskog and Tatar signings. And why trade Blackwood for an aging declining Holtby? shakes head

I don’t think you can get him then. Maybe for the 2022 first, but why would you trade that as NJ when it will be lottery?

There is no reality in any universe where an aging probably cooked Holtby is going to get a young up and coming goalie, a roster forward and defenseman, and a draft pick.
