Landeskog is likely leaving Colorado and I think he goes to St.Louis. they'd need to look to move cap space and this accomplishes that without taking any cap on. Somewhat of a lowball for sure, but accounting for the Landy factor I think they do this

Hmm. I'm not confident the Blues win that race, to be honest. I think they're much more likely to end up with someone like Saad or even Killorn.

1- Probably a bit too much of a softie that doesn't go inside for their tastes.

      2- Noooope.

Nick Merkley? He is smaller, but punches up a weight class in physicality. Plus has some skill, scoring touch.

Can't see that en-Tyce-ing the Blues, sorry.

Yeah just see yourself out after that one lol

I also think they are looking for $0 back, hence I used prospect/pick

I think they're fine with money back for the right player. To me Wood is the right player. What about including Sanford in the deal?
Wood plus 2nd for Tarasenko and Sanford.

Or Palat. Palat has one year left on his deal which makes it perfect for the Blues.

Yeah, he'd also be good, but I actually think they'd prefer the slightly cheaper, slightly longer signed, much more physical Killorn. Just a guess, but it make sense (in my head).

Not sure if that was dirty work in the corners or the equivalent of a Marchand licking...it's borderline

Killorn does make sense for all the reasons stated. Nothing against him. It really depends on what happens with Landeskog. I dont think the Blues get him, but it would be interesting to see.

What I did, while arguably cringe-inducing, was actually quite normal for humans. What Ratboy did was... unnatural and arguably demonic. Big difference. tears of joy

But hey, I'd just woken up after working until 8 am. Cut a brother a break, I already handled this in house.

It's not an overpay, or at least not much of one.

9+ for Hamilton is an overpayment

      I hope: 6 years x $7.9 million
      I expect: 7 years x $8.7 million
      I fear: 7 years x $10 million

      7 x 8.5 should be fair

I would be up for that.
      With front-loaded salary.
      Minimal signing bonus.

Like urinatingtree said himself when you promise your fans Hamilton and Tarasenko you don’t comeback with Jaroslav Halak (based off what he said when the knicks promised KD and Kyrie on the knicks and all they got was Julius Randle)

Because it's a fairly weak offer that doesn't even remotely help the team right now and the main piece is of a position where they're already pretty well stocked.
