A 3rd for DeBrusk sounds too cheap. They'd probably want one of Bowers or Kaut in that deal with the 3rd, at the very least.

I like Murray, but at least to start the season the Avs have to give some of the young guys a shot to at least prove they have something worth keeping around, at forward I mean. They have LOC, Kaut, Maltsev (who it sure seems that they are going to shoe horn in at 4C), Bowers, and Ranta(who should play in the AHL) to go with Helm, Sherwood, Weigerly, and even Megna to fill out the bottom 6.

I wouldn't. Compher does nothing for Ottawa at this stage, and has more term. It shouldn't be difficult to move Tierney for a pick this offseason, but if not, it's still way better to run it back with him til the deadline.

the DeBrusk deal has most likely changed after Krejci/Free agency. Its most likely in a package for a C or a Defensemen. No need to trade for a pick and open up space with Krejci retirement.
