At least the Ducks are going to lots of cap next season to rebuild their roster. I can understand that you don't like Murray, but there are many teams in a worse situation than the Ducks.

Lots of room for these young forwards to step up. There are still assets to unload at the deadline. This is a good time to be bad, also. In a few seasons you can have a promising young lineup with maybe Wright or Bedard, lure in some FA with the best weather in the world, throw in a new jersey/logo and you're back in action.

This is a point that is widely overlooked by a lot of the fanbase currently. Bob isn't perfect and has his faults, but there's a lot of teams out there in much worse situations. The biggest gripe on him is usually his lack of activity, which I'll take everyday of the week over the Bennings of the world.
