I would say you are piling on with that Nashville trade.

Want to make this season bearable? Find Holland and punch him in the mouth. It won’t make the team better but it should make you feel a bit better.

Holland has put edmonton in a position where its all or nothing over the next three years with the nurse,ceci and Hyman contracts this means to load up for a couple championship runs.Giving up on broberg early might come back to bite us but we can't wait on him anymore with the position we are now in. I wouldn't be shocked if Halloway gets shipped off too in a big trade in the coming offseasons. But yeah punching holland would make this season bearable.

Maybe the punch in the mouth would prevent Holland from talking, therefore staying off the phone to other GMs and player agents. A big win for the Oilers.

Hyman is one of the best support guys in the league but that cntract is horrible. I love Hyman but I am so glad dubas let him walk.

Holland needed to fix the goaltending, he did not. He needed to fix the defence, he did not and overpaid. He needed to surround his stars and add depth, he did too little and overpaid Hyman.

The oilers have Mcdavid so anything is possible but the oilers had some cap space but they wasted it IMO.

I was hoping they would wait one more year before going all in. Koski's contract would expire and they could get a real goalie. Keith would probably still be available if they really wanted him. And maybe someone like Holloway impresses and they don't need to overpay someone like Hyman.
Plus, younger guys like Yamamoto, Puljujarvi, Bouchard & McLeod would probably improve as well.

There was definitely pressure from somewhere. Maybe the owner, maybe McDavid & Drai are getting fed up.

I'm definitely in the minority, but I liked the moves that Holland made.
