Description
This is a model where the Wild give up 3 assets to acquire Zibanejad. I would think, an extension on Zibanejad would be in place for this to happen. Also, Fiala and KK sign extensions and Gusev is signed as a FA. Rask is traded in a cap dump.

This is part of a 3-way trade where Eichel goes to the Rangers and the Rangers give up a 2022 1st and the goalie Georgiev to Buffalo. So Buffalo gets 5 pieces for Eichel. 2 from NYR and the 3 from the Wikd. This is contingent upon Zibanejad waiving his NMC and signing a contract extension with the Wild.

    Value isn't terrible, but I don't think Boldy is expected to become a C in the future. Probably move to the wing, which Rangers have plenty of.

    Definitely more interest in Rossi.

    You're asking to much of Zibs...giving up his NMC and signing an extension with Minni. Just wait till next season, keep your assets.
    And even next season Minni's cap is lessened with the bigger cap buyouts of Parise and Suter.
