We’d say yes, Nill would sadly say no. Evans is one of my favourite Hab players because I love his work ethic, and it would help our cap situation a lot, short term and long term. Plus we get a 2nd round pick. This should be a no brainer on our behalf, but Nill adores Faksa for some reason so I’m not sure he’d do it. You have the approval of us Stars fans.

My friend @TheMooterus would especially like this move.

Why would Montreal do this? Evans is our 3rd line shutdown center and is cheaper!

faksa bring experience and will let kk develop more then if we had evans a 3rd center.

Evans is just as good as Faska on a cheaper contract, it's pointless to make this move.

they're both great shutdown centers with some offensive abilities. But Faksa's experience helps greatly our extremely young center line.

They are that's why it doesn't make sense, it's a lateral move 1 for 1 but your adding a 2nd as well. Evans with Drouin and Anderson on the 3rd line or even Lehkonen and Armia on the 4th line could end up putting up as many points as Faska next season and at close to 1/5th the cost when we need to save as much cap as possible.

you seem to not want to address the point i'm putting forward. i completely understand that they are similar player but with such a young center core you need some experience. faksa's experience will help kk and suzuki. hes better suited for this position cause he can take over if one of them is going trough tougher time and can be put in crush time when you want a veterant. Evans can't do any of those.

This discussion is pointless because it's not based on Dallas real situation.

Bishop will be on LTIR, so Dallas isn't over the cap and Faksa won't be traded.

The chances of Bishop coming back are so low, they traded for Holtby... I wouldn't hold my breath on it.
