Trades
1.
CBJ
  1. Bowers, Shane
  2. Compher, J.T.
  3. 2023 1st round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
I know Columbus isn’t trading him “extension” “he’s the next captain” but what would it take for Kekalainen to consider. What would your rebuttals be? I feel like it’s more than fair but what do I know
2.
DET
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
I thought he was a great role player back in the bubble for Avs, responsible in his own zone chipped in on a lot of goals. I would like sakic to make a deal with Yzerman at deadline

The cost to get him would be on the sort of stupid-high level of overpayment. Like, a 1st, Bowers, and Newhook.

He's not worth it, but so much has been made of him (and Werenski) re-signing and staying here, when so many others have left, that the only way either is going is godfather deals. Jarmo needs to save face. it's PR protection.

Had he not been re-signed, and he was a TDL move next year, I'd have expected a 1st and either a mid-rounder, or B level prospect. Somewhere between what we got for Foligno and what NYI paid for Palmieri.

I think that's a fair return for Namestnikov to be honest. He would fit good there again I think.

He was traded for a 4th twice in once season....to the Sens at the start of the season, then to the Avs at teh Deadline for a 4th.

Gotta keep the streak alive, Name for a 4th one more time

Columbus struggle mightily to retain talent, so I doubt they'll be looking to move one of the only veterans who actually like being there.
