Henrique was free to everyone on waivers last season. It's his 3 year term that makes him poor value. Sens should be able to pick up a good quality 3C cheap as teams will be looking to dump cap.
Sens are really looking to see if Norris and Pinto can be a good one/two centre combo this season.

I am trying to understand. Is it a casual hockey fan (the type who doesn't know more than 5 players on his home team without looking) that suddenly decided to "try" the Armchair-GM tool and make this proposal?

Does that fan missed Henrique passing through waivers just a few months ago? If you can use this tool, how come you're not able to look at Henrique's contract, age, production, term left, etc?

Why would any team give any positive asset to get him? Why is there absolutely no retention?


I don't have any answers because I have pretty much been a hardcore hockey fan since I first heard about hockey in 1991 (I was a young european teenager) but I am still trying to understand how it's possible to understand so little about the NHL but at the same time know about Cap Friendly and being able to use this tool?
