Description
I have zero faith in Murray and realize a buyout is a stupid idea. But imagining Lamorello losing it on an offer sheet, while scary, is also fun. For the record, I wouldn’t offer sheet Sorokin in real life. If Stutzle was ready to assume a C spot, I’d go after Beauvilier.

I tend to agree with you. See my description. But I don’t think they have one of Sorokin’s upside.

I honestly wish someone would OS Sorokin - isles have 18 mill in cap space they can easily match

Over 5 years? Yes they would. You’re buying up all his prime years and odds are he will provide excess value on the contract

Who knows how much they actually have in cap space given the deals they have apparently already done but haven’t announced. Lou is a wizard.

Fair enough, but they have enough flexibility to match almost any realistic offersheet to Sorokin or Beauvillier

100%. Even if you go high and Parise, Palmieri, Cizikas combine for 9 mill total, they still have about 11 mill to sign both Sorokin and Beauvillier

I actually think Tierney could play a nice role in Chicago. He’s a pending UFA, with a good profile as a 3rd pairing C behind Dach and Toews. Anyway, I hope Chicago has a great year. Kane is one of my go to guys every year in my fantasy hockey draft.
