And that Eichel deal is a pipe dream return at this point. Sure, the Jackets need a 1st line centre, but the package strips the Jackets of NHL depth at every position. Roslovic looks to be at least a 2C there, Foudy still projects as top 9 (if not top 6), Domi with a new coach may find his top 6 form again, and a starting goalie with a 1st? Never gonna happen. Jarmo is imo, one of the best GMs in the NHL. He hangs up the phone.

Korpisalo isn't a starting goalie and you're a little too high on all the other CBJ assets IMO.

Terrible Columbus trade. No way I'd trade those assets to Edmonton for a cap dump and Puljujarvi. Thompson looked quite good under Granato and I'm willing to bet he builds off that this season so I'd hesitate hard to trade him 1 for 1 for Puljujarvi.
