I really really really don't think there is a fit between what Montreal wants to give up and what Buffalo wants back.

I'm sure there's a fit that makes sense for both teams, but people here will never agree on one. Caufield is not yet indispensable for example, and Buffalo may be very interested in KK or some of our prospects.
Fans might not like it, but good trades often involve players who aren't big names that become big players.
