Ya, but did he have 41 goals last year? his numbers are inflated bc of McJesus. Not saying he isn't good, but he's definitely not better than Matthews.

And if youre gonna say "Matthews scores so much bc of Marner" well then Drai has so many points cuz of Mcdavid.

If we were talking about goal-scoring, I'd agree with you. In that case Matthews is arguably the best in the league - better than MacKinnon and McDavid as well. But we aren't.

Your "inflation" argument is silly - every team in the league has their best players playing together as much as possible. Matthews plays with other good players, as does MacKinnon. It's a flaccid argument. In any case, McDavid and Draisaitl are apart FAR more than Matthews-Marner, Marchand-Pastrnak, MacKinnon-Rantanen, etc.
