Ottawa has zero interest in Ryan Merkley. He wasn’t asked about in the Karlsson trade for a reason. Too many character question marks for the Sens to consider. For the same reason Kane probably wouldn’t be of interest either.

Can’t see them moving Brown or Greig and this has exactly 0% chance of happening without an extension in place for Hertl. Pass.

Pretty sure Kane is part of the reason why Hertl wants out of SJ.

And if I'm trading for Hertl he's coming with a long term extension similar to how Stone was traded.
