Minnesota isn't doing either of this deal
    1) Tomas h isn't getting a 1st round pick, and Top prospect like Marat Khusnutdinov

    2) no chance Minnesota or any team will ever ever take on evander kane especially Minnesota. ! Not under Billy G. No team is dumb enough either

I was just deleting Kane from the team, not trading him anywhere...

Hertl at 2.8mil on the Wild for a playoff run is absolutely worth that value. He's a top 15-20 center in the NHL by nearly every model, and would finally give the Center support that Kaprizov and Fiala need. I'm even allowing the team to keep Rossi, which is what the Sharks would certainly want in this trade.

Minnesota rather keep Marat Khusnutdinov . Wild can't sign him to extension and no rental bring that. Also , wild aren't making any trade to the team with kaprizov coming first. Marat has become damn good and reason why Minnesota traded to select him. Tomas isn't worth a top prospect like Marat. You are overvaluing Tomas. Minnesota would laugh sharks off phone for Marco Rossi

I would love if Wild acquired Hertl. He is expensive but by most accounts it sounds like this is about right, especially with a extension in place. Wild can't do this deal currently because of cap space.

Dude.... STOP. Khusnutdinov is a great prospect, but he is not a top prospect. He's a B-level prospect at best, and while his current progression and development are looking highly promising to the point where he might actually be trending towards becoming a A-level top of the line blue-chip prospect. He's not there yet.

Considering that Hertl is not only coming with a full 50% retention that's allowed for this final year of his current contract... and... a contract extension, this is a steal of a deal and the Wild would be foolish to not pull the trigger here.

In this scenario, the Wild absolutely move Khusnutdinov. Hertl is more or less what Khusnutdinov is projected to become and it'll probably take him 4 or 5 years to get to that same point that Hertl is at already right now. In this case it's reasonable to trade out that future potential when you're getting the finished product back in return.

    -------------------

That said, the Sharks need to be taking cap back as part of the trade or it doesn't work. I would suggest dropping the 4th entirely, also... then drop the retention to only 25%, tack on Rask to compensate for that difference, and then add Beckman to even out the trade value given the extensions in play as well.

I actually think it seem a smidge to low. I would drop the 4th, but add Rask and Beckman, and bring the asked retention down to only 25% to make it more palatable for San Jose.

Much fairer deal for all sides involved that way in my opinion.
