Not really, but only having three other centers kinda forces Montreal's hand if they can't find a fourth one.

He can play the position fine its winning faceoffs he sucks at
Move him to 3rd or give him faceoff support at 2nd and he's fine

Your only options are Perrault Paquette or Evans playing beside him
But 2/3 will have to play Center positions leaving Perrault as Drouin's but choice for Faceoff support

Just a FYI Perreault didn't take a face-off for Winnipeg in years, there are rumours that a previous back injury forced him to stop. His days of playing centre/being a face-off man are long gone.

Poehling. His name is Ryan Poehling.

Not sure why so many are forgetting about him. He's a natural center. Former 1st rounder. Had great season last year in AHL and is poised for callup.

If KK is not matched and no new centre is brought in, Poehling is a player no one should sleep on. he'll get big minutes with good linemates right off the hop here.

You seem to forget how Jo92 struggled a couple of years ago when positioned at center... Also, placing Hoffman with on the same line = defensive liability and most goals against will be on their shifts.

Even before the KK offer sheet and the possibility of him leaving I thought Poehling had a real strong chance of making the team out of camp. With KK possibly gone, there is little doubt, unless he has a terrible camp. Which I highly doubt!
