Description
So I don't know the situation with Brannstrom, but I have seen a COUPLE of ACGMs trading him. What would the price be? [brought all valuable pieces possibly of interest up to the NHL]
Obviously you're not getting Suzuki, Caufield, or Romanov, but anyone else is most likely on the table
It's probably preferred that Brook isn't moved, since the whole reason of acquiring him is for a top RD in the post-Petry/Weber era

And, on the contrary from my fellow Habs fans, what do you think would be a fair price for Brannstrom?

We’d only trade him in a package for a good top 6 centre with term or a similar forward prospect . Hes expendable but we aren’t selling him for cheap. He was on pace for 35pts this past year as a 21 year old. He’s better than ppl think

... and unfortunately we don't have a good top 6 centre... unless you want a Drouin? 😉

If we are getting Branstrom don't stop there, get Glass too so we can have all three 1st round picks from Vegas' inaugural draft.

Don't need Brannstrom with Struble, Norlinder, Guhle and Harris in the pipeline on the LHD

He plays both. Someone like Romanov or Guhle would be a great partner for him or even Edmundson. Just someone who’s tough and hits Next to him, while giving him the freedom with the puck

I doubt Brannstrom is actually going to get traded but he's extremely underrated and has a high ceiling. IMO I think it's a joke people are trading him on ACGM for fringe top 6 players that are over 25 years old. His value on the market is higher than that. The Habs would need to give up someone like Romanov in order to get Brannstrom, but I don't think that makes sense for either team. However I agree that Suzuki and Caufield are non-starters in any deal.

Cheers

I don't see anything that makes sense in MTL. they should really only move him either for an equivalent high level C/RW prospect, or in a deal to add an impact top six C/RW. MTL doesn't have a prospect that fits the bill, and they aren't gonna trade forwards off their roster.
