you dont know your prospects well then.
also many all stars get traded for player who are not or just for picks and prospects.
example. Fluery traded for nothing S jones for boquist. hall for larsson, palmari late 1st
Another example of someone wildly overvaluing players on his favorite team.
I know that Turris is a pure cap dump.
I know that Lagesson is unlikely to ever be more than a third-pairing defenseman.
I know that Broberg is an A prospect, but HIGHLY unlikely to ever be as good as Chychrun.
I know that Ralph "The Sled" Lavoie is a B prospect whose skating may keep him from ever being a top-6 forward.
I know that right now, Tyler Tullio is not regarded as more than a B prospect.
I know that a 2023 first won't hit the NHL until 2025-2026, if then, if ever.
Jakob Chychrun would be the third most-valuable player on your team, well above Ryan Nugent-Hopkins or Darnell Nurse and head and shoulders above anyone else including prospects in your system (even Evan Bouchard).
And if you think that Seth Jones got traded for Adam Boqvist, or that a declining Kyle Palmieri is anywhere close to the value of Chychrun, God help you.
