it's between Skjei, Freddie and Gardiner for me, I went with highest caphit and longest term

I think it's most definitely Seguin, he's got a near 10M caphit until age 35 and he's already not worth that age 29

Lee is a good player but I never liked him getting a 7x7, he'll have that deal until he's 36

Martinez is already 34 and while he fantastic last year, I don't know if I'd bet on that to continue to the point where the contract doesn't look bad by the end of it.

Coyles is pretty darn bad.

I think he's in the same group as Jamie Benn as an underrated but overpaid player. Where as Moore (especially) and Foligno aren't as good and don't have the same upside as Coyle who I think has a chance to prove himself worthy of that caphit for at least a couple years of his deal.

My main issue with his deal is the term & clauses so I definitely think there's a more than fair argument for him

For Dallas either Faksa, Lindell or Suter. At least Segs brings a lot to the table.

Suter & Benn were considered pretty heavily. Faksa & Lindell got a look but not much consideration since I don't see much of a chance for age regression as the contracts go on

Seguin got the nod because of he had the largest caphit, the most term and has dealt with injuries. I also don't think he was the best player out of this group either, I think Jamie Benn is
