Eichel that a bad deal for Montreal.
Even if he didn't require surgery.

Besides the idea is to have a 1-2 that includes Suzuki. Not to leave us with only 1C.

Even if one felt Dahlin was worth three 1st rounders (personally I think it's an overpay), LD isn't a position where NSH needs help badly enough, to justify the cost. They've got Josi locked up long term, they want to re-sign Ekholm, and Farrance & Davies are NHL ready/close to it.

Ngl this is a terrible deal for MTL. If MTL trade for him you have Caufield/Suzuki untouchable. You can say whatever you want, this makes no sense to deal for Eichel if these guys goes the other way. It's like trading McDavid to Colorado for Rantanen and like Makar (on a lesser extent)

Sabres dont need Romanov Ylonen or the 23 1st. Swap in Poehling and Hillis, maybe Drouin for cap reasons, so its not so much for mtl

How about no to just about everything except the deal that gets rid of Cody Eakin? Suzuki is really the only piece in the Eichel trade I actually like.
