subban isnt even as good as Holl anymore and the leafs are giving up Holl, Dermott, Egnvall AND a pick for him?

He's more worried about his outfits then playing hockey. He also put him on the top pairing

People are under the impression that they’re getting the PK Subban of the Predators and Canadiens. Those days are over. His production massively dipped and his defensive abilities are horse manure.

If you’re gonna pay for double retention at least do it for someone who is worth it.

I wouldnt want the sabres to do this. They may retain on eichel, the may end up acquiring a player in the trade that has to be moved immediately (monahan/zibanejad...), plus there should be opportunities to get better picks around the deadline, just by facilitating. Theres only 3 spots. Engvall and a 4th doesnt make me wanna give up one of those spots.

Actually this kinda works if you think Subban is an improvement over Holl. I doubt he is better than Holl, and in the meantime the Leaf give up Holl, another NHL Dman in Dermot and a handy cost efficient Engvall.
Seems like another fantasy that other teams players are so much better than the Leafs players.
