Rather not bring him back and I'm sure he doesn't want to come back, maybe we could get koskinen if EDM wants to clear out salary. Maybe we could get a 2nd in the process, Habs should do that if need for another goalie

if MTL is being paid to take on a goalie then i want anton khudobin

Thinking the same thing buddy 😉. The thing is khudobin has 2 years left and koskinen has 1, I think MTL might want to get koskinen rather then khudobin

I didn't mention Devan dubnyk as a potential goalie option. How would you feel about that? We could sign him as a UFA
i dunno there's a reason why no one's signed him
however if its like a one year contract and once everyone's healthy he gets sent down to the echl then sure

Yeah how bout he comes on a 1 year contract, we ride him with primeau, then when montembeault comes back Devan plays with Monty. Both Allen and price will be back around the trade deadline, i think we should trade Allen around then to get maximum value, then we could also probably trade dubnyk to a contender who needs a backup goalie, maybe like pittsburgh or winnepeg. Till the end of the year we would go with price and montembeault. Solid goalie plan, no? I should be hired as an advisor to hughes. Lol 😆 , JK
hes been awesome for MTL, giving them the biggest goal of the franchise in a while (the OT winner against VGK in 20/21) i do NOT want to see him leave
It sucks that we are losing him, but he's in his prime and Montreal is rebuilding. By the time we are ready to compete, he will be late 20's/Early 30's and out of his prime. Might as well get the most we can from him and let him compete for a cup.

unless MTL can do a fast one year retool. then lehko's still in his prime and a great 4th line player

I don't see that happening. We have way too many holes and not nearly enough young star power. We need to completely rebuild, last retool was a complete failure and just prolonged our rebuild (and now we're in a worst spot)
