I’m not super high on Greenway but I’d have to imagine MIN declines.

Why

I feel like MN knows what Greenway is. He is great when properly motivated, but at this point he should be self motivated. He is a quality NHL forward with some, but little upside whom Wild can't afford long term. Definitely trade bait but what will he return. I for one am very impressed with Ranta.

This all day long. Physically Ranta is a top 6 player now, if he can play the mental side he is going to be a load to handle.

Rambo Santa is a fun prospect, but he went in the 3rd round for a reason. Even with his size, he wasn’t a prolific scorer on a good gopher team over 3 years and his production only popped in the shortened season. He’s not a top 6 prospect, his projection is probably very close to Greenway. Would I take him if COL added a 2nd or 3rd? Yeah, but not on his own.

Greenway has a role and will be a contributor to an NHL team, even if it’s not gonna be the Wild.

Are you describing Ranta or Greenway…

Ranta was a very good player for my beloved Gophers, and his game should translate well to the NHL. He has great size, speed, and power…but, he won’t wow you with creativity and hockey sense. He’s a straight-liner who can put a lot of pressure on opposing defensemen both on the rush and as a forechecker. His hands are average too.

All that said, I would make this trade for the Wild. Cheaper. Younger. Much more consistent effort!
