What we need

Description
Ok boys, this is what Jimmy has to do for us to win it all this year.

Easier said than done, I know some fans wont be on board with the returns for either of these trades. But working with what is available, I think these are fair packages for both players. Nashville receives a bit more than I would usually give (Juolevi, 2nd rounder and a 4th max), but that's due to them taking on Myers' deal. I love Myers, but we can't afford to keep him past this season given his cap hit - unless he performs as a top 4 guy throughout the year.

For Brady, the deal is roughly the "best offer" the Canucks could provide without losing out on too much. He's an RFA, so the 6 x 2 contract has backend bonuses that will carry over to the 2023-2024 season if/when they are hit. Basically postponing our cap-issues to a later date here.

Tkachuk doesn't sign that and a Tkachuk trade probably starts with Horvat

Even if you remove Fabbro from the offer, NSH declines. A 2nd, a bust, and an AHLer aren't enough incentive to take on Myers' contract.

Now that's an awful offer for Tkachuk

Only interesting piece is 2022 1st round pick (VAN)

The 4 other pieces have very little value in a trade for Brady Tkachuk

A 29 year old middle6 winger, two dead weight 6th and 7th round picks, a low 3rd, and the meh 1st.

This is your offer in reverse, for Pettersson

Chris Tierney
Chandler Romeo [Reserve List]
Philippe Daoust [Reserve List]
2022 3rd round pick (BOS)
2023 1st round pick (OTT)

You're being way too generous with Philippe Daoust, he's actually a pretty unknown and underrated prospect (see below)

I agree, I was just grabbing a recent 6th and 7th off the reserve list for similar draft positions.
