It’s not what is coming, it’s what you are sending out. Hoffman is a pure sniper. Ylonen is a beautiful crafty player that is lethal on PP.

Romanov is an excellent pure hitter that can skate. He will never be a good PP guy but that’s okay. And Poehling, which everyone is dumping on, finished the game at 58% on faceoffs which is excellent. The previous game he properly flushed the d-man to the weak side, thus preventing him from going to his strong side. He’s a smart player but he’s playing tight right now. People need to chill.

Then you add a 1st round pick and a 2nd. The rule of thumb is not to give away your first two round picks.

I could understand but let's see that on an other angle, if we replace Myers by one of ekholm (with retention) or fabbro and put the famous top 10 protect we still can play biron on cap and put Ghule in the minor so we ain't having overage this season. Tolvanen is cap compliant for 3 yrs ... so would you guys prefer Ehkolm at 2.5 or try Fabbro ? I know i give huge future here, but this team can rack a great future too ... question is not we lose a trade or not AGM should be made to help us altogether build a better suitable version of the op proposal, no? I know you love competition but why are we valuing fictive movment?

did protection in editing and swap Myers for Fabbro, also upgraded the pick coming from Nashville, is that better this way?

with this trade next year suzuki can be paid 6.875 x 8yrs and you still can put weber on the actual cap! so this mean we can manage all other contracts! I know this don't look good but for cash management this is perfect!
