OK, I'm just absolutely furious right now. I get the 10-game point streak had to come to an end eventually, but I'm not used to the Lightning blowing 3-1 3rd period leads, let alone managing to do it IN REGULATION.
That being said, the score sheet merely shows that MacKenzie Blackwood made 13 saves on 13 shots in the 3rd period-that doesn't do it justice, it doesn't show the QUALITY of those saves, he was OUTRAGEOUS. That save on Killorn on the 2-on-0-HOLY SMOKES, that was abnormal, freaking VASI-worthy. Turning point of the game.
Now THAT being said, it doesn't excuse giving up 3 goals in about 10 minutes in the 3rd period with a 2 goal lead, and it wasn't really Vasi's fault-the Mercer goal was a great move and the Vesey goal was a breakaway. Well, hopefully they can bounce back strong against the Wild tomorrow.

I didn't see the game. But had Lightning Radio on the whole time and definitely got the impression that those two glove saves were massive in the outcome.

Did Katchouks game look as good as it sounded?

I didn't see all of the game, but from what I did see, he looks better and better every night. His cross-ice pass to Hedman who then made it 3-1 was beautiful.

I know Johnson isn't super realistic as I don't think he will actually get bought out, but it isn't super unrealistic either. It's really to show that the Bellemare and Perry contracts should've been one-year deals
