No from Winnipeg. The Jets traded a bigger, better version of Caufield to get Dubois, they're not going to go backwards and take a mini-me version of Laine now. Montreal has exactly one and only one asset that starts the conversation and now that player has a bad long term contract, so Montreal needs to look elsewhere for center help.

Definitely not. There isn't a comparable center coming back, only two players that aren't needed. The Jets know how hard it is to find a 1B/2 center. They won't give away theirs for a couple players that don't provide anything they don't already have. The Jets would be trading a hard to fill position to add 2 players to their deepest position.

Why would they even look at it?
