All of our players have really stepped up so far this season. I think we still need to establish pressure when having a lead and having that solid 6th defenseman ( whoever it may be ). I think we need a reliable backup and I believe Stolarz is not the guy to be our back ( could see him backup somewhere else or starter AHL goalie )

Maybe. Still so early. Zegras doesn't look elite tho.

Everything seems to hinge on him ultimately

But in a few years when zegras is a slower but niftier krill Kaprizov and drysdale literally becomes hmpus Lindholm 2.0 they could be pretty nifty

I was very impressed with the ducks last night once they get better at tightening up shutting things down they will be a very tough team to beat. I’m not sure Eakins is the coach to bring those lessons but I might have an unfair opinion on him from his time in Edmonton which was an absolute joke.

Considering the top talent in the 2022 draft and the number of rentals that the Ducks could trade to boost the rebuild, I really hope they don't fool themselves into going for it this season.

Most players don’t look elite in their rookie season at the age of 20.

He didn't get a lot of TOI in the first 2 games, but had over 18 minutes in the last 2 and he's been good in all of those games.
