I'd said that is a definite no because Miller is simply a better player than Fiala. If you Boldy or a 1st or 2nd I think they accept.

Uh, no. Clearly fiala is a really good player. No chance is JT worth fiala, 1, & 2. You are overvaluing jt, while underselling Fiala

Fiala is so overrated and I said Fiala + a 2nd. Didn't mean to write a first.

To Seattle = yes. Trust Brackett to do his thing

If Fiala isn't expensive, wild should just keep him

And you are undervaluing Fiala. Fiala and kaprizov are what drives Minnesota. Fiala works with rask including this year and his c is freddy G, and no matter what Fiala still dominate

I'm sorry I just looked at Fiala's stats and they are better than I thought they were. I don't think he drives MN. It JEK+Kaprizov with Rossi in a few years.

If you can make the cap work to keep Fiala you keep him. If you can't then you trade him for futures and re-sign Greenway.

At least one of Fiala, Greenway, or Zucc (NTC to get around) are gone next year. My money is on Fiala pricing himself out of MN and a trade happens at the draft.

The biggest thing is that Miller actually plays C a lot, with Pettersson or otherwise. Fiala can't replace that.

I love Fiala as a player and would probably do this though.

Why? Miller will be a UFA in a year. With Fiala, we'd at least have a chance to negotiate a deal when he is a RFA.

Oh no Fiala definitely drives MN. He’s elite at zone entries (98th percentile league wide). Top 10% in entries, exits, passes and scoring chances.

If you’re just looking at his stats and not watching games, which presumably you are since you just noted having to look them up, I don’t think you’re qualified to speak on whether or not he’s a key play driver for MIN.

Also citing Ek, Kap and Rossi is a bit odd in this context, seeing as both Ek and Rossi are centers and won’t play together. Nothing about having them leads to Fiala being an odd man out.

Depends on how the negotiations for Miller go this offseason. We also already have Garland who is basically what Fiala is
