Like heck he would, Leddy @ 50% retention is worth more then 3 garbage pieces.

Detroit 100% passes, Leddy @ $2,750,000 is worth more then 3 garbage pieces. Leddy easily returns a late 1st round pick or a 2nd round pick not a bunch of scrubs and lesser pieces.

I agree.

But I disagree as well.

Lavoie, I think is worth a 1rst/2nd so you get Turris (who could maybe revive his career at Detroit 3C if given the chance) and a 3rd. At worst here, you are getting a 2nd, a 3rd and a 2M dollar AHLer for a mid-pairing 35 year old half retained D. I think this is a good deal.

Reasonable deal. Disregard those who complain about having to take turris expiring contract as negative that’s stupid to even suggest or anyone considering lavoie as a garbage piece clearly just don’t know what they are talking about and instead of taking the few minutes to learn and educate themselves they spend that time discrediting themselves.

Why would we have any interest in Turris as our 3C? We already have either Rasmussen or Veleno as our 3C we're trying to get younger not older. So an aging Kyle Turris is of no use to us.

Incredibly hard pass from Detroit. None of those pieces are remotely valuable enough to part with Leddy. Turris is a straight up dump.

Furthermore, Leddy has been phenomenal here and his chemistry and mentorship to Seider is invaluable. I'd put money on Yzerman signing him to an extension by mid season.

Leddy is UFA at the end of the year. This trade would be a big win for Detroit. Unless you think Detroit is ready for a long playoff run. You don't think that do you?

Lavoie

Lavoie has 0 value to us, we already have just as good of pieces within our organization.
