Description

Trade made in December before Kane's return.
Pavelski keeps Evander in line like he did before.
Eklund goes back to SHL as he has been fairly invisible since game 1.
Hatakka finally replaces Middleton who is a glorified AHLer.
Chmelevski gets the call-up he has earned.
Merkley has earned Sommer's trust in the AHL and will get called up and stay playing with Knyzhov who returns from injury also in December.

I love Pavs, but we need more from the Stars for Hertl. This would be doable if it was just Labanc and the 5th rounder, but I would add Gurianov and a 1st rounder if Hertl was to go to Dallas.

Also, I am 100% certain that Evander has played his last game in San Jose. The locker room hates him, and it seems the FO will look to buy him out if they can't terminate his deal.

Hard pass on playing kane again and there's no reason to water down Hertls value by adding an asset we dont need in pavelski. I do like dellandrea and martino though.

Can’t see the Stars deal happening, yes we get the better value, but after that our cap situation is f*cked. The cap Pavs takes off along with Rads is to compensate Klingberg, JRob, Gurianov and Otter. Add Hertl and Labanc to the picture and it’s at minimum another 11 million to the cap.
