Actually they do. They gave it up because they hired torts. He was fired still had over 3 yrs left in his contract, so you hired him, took over his salary and because it was in season you give up a second rd pick

Definitely a good start, the only thing is I think Alzner will probably get between 5.6 and 6 mil a year. He'd be a great signing though!

Alzner would be crazy to sign in Vancouver, thats not gonna happen. Also swap Granlund with Eriksson, its Granlund who has deserved to play top six minutes not Eriksson. Maybe also swap Virtanen with Goldobin. Other than that pretty solid

Why would buffalo give away Kane for a defender with low trade value? Also, Karl Alzner would want more than 4.8 mil maybe like 6 or 5.8.

First off, it's not a rebuild if you are right up against the cap, or over it. If you are pushing the cap, you are basically stating you are considering yourself a contender.

They will pick up a backup to play behind Markstrom, Bachman is an AHL goalie, Demko will probably start to get a turn at the Pro level in spurts over the season, maybe finishing out the last 10-20 games with the big team if they aren't going to make the playoffs.

While i Like Alzner, I gotta say no to that contract both on he won't accept it and it takes a spot away from promotion within. It's not a rebuild if you are going after the big UFA fish in the summer.
It better be Edler and not Sbisa that Vegas takes.
I think if you are resigning Guddy to trade him, it's not going to happen, not sure I'd want Kane back either. I like Kane, hell, I have a signed Giants jersey of his, but I don't think he is the right move for this team in a rebuild.
Unless they changed something, ELC max is 925k, so Bosers 1.1 isn't going to fly.
Bo will get 6for6 I think, unless they bridge him for 2 years at 7per
Tryamkin will also probably see 2-2.5 on a 3-4year deal, i think.

Definitely agree with you hes worth more. Im just banking on him taking a home team discount praying beniing can do a gillis/Gilman style contract
