a man can dream lmao. im just scared that price will come back and we'll end up picking 10th or something. i'd rather burn it all down this year and have a change in leadership at the top levels.

With 1 point in 10 games in the NHL this year, and now playing in the AHL, you think Caufield will earn himself a 7 x $8.7m contract in 1.5 years?

3rd. They’ll either take a Russian winger or a French centre. Miroshnichenko or Savoie. Or maybe even Lambert and he turns into Kotkaniemi 2.0

Other than Guenther, Hayton, schmaltz and Keller , that team isn’t close to stacked

I mean, you’re expecting a lot to change…

He’s a good prospect, but your expectations are way too high if you anticipate a contract like that.

we can always wait a year. he's still on his elc. habs did the same with suzuki. thats clearly paying off

Suzuki has done a lot more to earn that contract -- and you're giving Caufield even more $$ than that. This is just cart before the horse for me. I don't think he get close to this contract coming off his ELC.
