Basically Panarin is very good player, I acknowledge that. He is not worth Tkachuk and a 1st though from a Flames perspective, especially at that cap hit

I gotchu, makes sense when you put It that way. Cap hit is heavy so we'd need to retain to maximize his value.

I would do the Islanders trade and maybe the Capitals trade.

The Flames, Devils, Leafs and Senators trades are absolutely brutal for Rangers.

Should be:

Calgary: Tkachuk, Mangiapane, two picks in first round for Panarin
New Jersey: Hughes, Mukamadulin, two picks in first round for Zibanejad
Ottawa: Tkachuk, Sokolov, one pick in first round for Kreider
Toronto: Robertson plus Amirov for Goodrow
