Are you guys forgetting that Forsberg is a pending UFA? It’s not a bad haul if they don’t think they can extend him.

Forsberg as a rental should cost no more than a 1st round pick and a middling prospect. Can throw in a couple of low-end roster players if you like, so I say this is fine if the Preds can't extend him
