Description

Montembeault is NOT the answer! He’s looked so bad. If Allen is not good to go for tomorrow, then I have no idea who plays against Boston. It shouldn’t be Montembeault, as playing him for a second straight game is a terrible idea. As for Primeau, he played earlier today for Laval, so it’d be a back-to-back for him. As for McNiven, he’s never played in the NHL, and an NHL debut against the Bruins is a rough introduction to the league. We should’ve claimed Hutch off waivers instead of Montembeault IMO

I'll agree with you about Hutchinson. He would have been a good choice. There might have been others with a better track record Montembeault. Interesting that Leafs called up Woll who is playing in his first NHL game tonight instead of other minor leaguers goalies who had more NHL games.
