I like the idea of a Boeser/Zadina swap, but maybe not for that much. I think just Zadina and a first is probably close to fair market value, but Detroit's first rounder doesn't come cheap. Counter-offer:

Zadina, 2022 2nd (WSH), 2023 2nd (DET)
for
Boeser, 2022 6th (VAN)

Overpays on both, especially NYI. I like the idea of the DET trade, but downgrade DET picks a bit.

Agreed. JT Miller would fit in very, very well with the Islanders. His style is exactly what we need.

As much as I would like Broeser, he would fall into the same trap as Zadina, neither would have a good center iceman and a good winger. When Vrana comes back that will help Zadina, bt that line needs a good center. I like Suter, but not sure he is a top 2 line center.

I would rather keep the pick and hope to get a center or use it to trade for one.

I agree I wouldn't give up Zadina and a 1st. Now 2 2nd rd picks and Zadina I'd do and I wouldn't care too much about the pick coming back.

If Detroit trades a key piece I think there would have to be a center coming back. But Broeser would be a good add. That being said I'm not entirely sure Vancouver would make this trade in the 1st place.

Van hangs up unless Dobson is part of the return for Miller. Also as good as yzerman is as a gm there’s no chance Van makes that trade
