Yashin will continue living on thru Nick Paul. What was the reason he left for the KHL back then?

Yashin wanted to return to Ottawa after his buyout but Sens were not interested.

Wow. But he was always close to a point per game. Why did he get bought out? Sorry it’s a bit too far back from me

Kieffer Bellows is the Jermey Bracco for NYI. Guy is included in almost every trade they want to make 😂

Lol.

What about SDA Or Engvall?? Leafs fans on ACGM notoriously trading Der-Arguchintsev and Engvall. And actually Holl, Kerfoot and Dermott too.

I guess just a lot of Leafs fans have free time.

Too expensive considering his performance and the fact NHL implemented salary cap during that contract. A $7,5M contract when the cap was like $50M is basically equivalent to McDavid contract nowadays. Although I can't really recall if there were some relief allowed for the teams back then.

Although Montreal is pretty solid at RW, I’m making this trade but ask for a pick as well. Oliver is only on 4th because he’s 21 with veteran players ahead of him.

Then Montreal needs to move an RW but not your problem.

This post was a joke - islanders wouldn’t trade Wahlstrom for Chiarot even if MTL added Guhle and a 1st. He has been the isles best forward this season.

I was surprised when I saw that. I’ve been 30 years in hockey as a coach , gm and scout so I often get caught by the goofy trades because I’m used to dealing with “professionals” but sometimes forget I’m sometimes dealing with teenagers or people with little experience.
