Got to believe Drury will push hard to get Smith from Vegas. Gallant likes him and Vegas can't afford him once Eichel comes off IR.

I agree he is probably better at C, but he can play on the wing.

For a Veteran with as much experience as he has, I wouldn't shy away from him for that reason.

Honestly, I see the Rangers go in for Smith but I see it around the trade deadline when Eichel is coming back. I think that’s probably a reasonable valuation for him but he’s going to be looked at by a lot of teams. If a bidding war starts it’s anyone’s guess.

I saw one with Kravtsov And a fourth and I think that’s probably a better guess than just picks because the Rangers are looking to get rid of him in Vegas is going to want some kind of a replacement for Smith.

Could be a conceivable option. Kravtsov has worn out his welcome, and the Knights have a while until they have to worry about becoming Cap compliant.
