That is an awful trade for the sharks. Over $35 MILLION in retention?! Why would they ever entertain that idea

Not to mention adding ~10mil per year in ****ty players from the Canucks (Myers, Pearson)

No from Vancouver. No one will take Kane without the Sharks adding a lot. They should bury him in the AHL until they can buy him out.

If nobody wants Kane without screwing over the Sharks, just buy him out, drive him to the airport, and let him fly to play in the KHL.

The problem is that there isn’t much room left for future buyouts i.e. Vlasic.

Honestly, just let them play until 2027 when Couture’s and EK65’s contracts are up and so is everyone else’s before that time.
