Maple Leafs don’t want the future Team USA goalie for 5 years at $5,000,000 and Toronto is giving away Mrazek who is always injured and draft picks that will be the end of the round, Nick Ritchie who has done nothing and yes Liljegren will hurt but that’s the price to get great young goalie and get your team out of the first round

Thatcher Demko - .908 sv%

Demko isn’t fighting for a spot in the olympic roster. He won’t even go.

If you like him so much, keep him.

His value is not that high.

Yeah I am going to take advice from a Leafs fan on great goaltending, there is a reason why the Leafs can’t get out of the 1st round and it’s normally goaltending
Canucks have gone farther then the Leafs in fact all the Canadian teams in the last 10-12 years have gone farther then the Leafs have in the same time and goaltending has always been the problem and Campbell is not being considered for an Olympic team not even the Chinese team lol
Also can you not read because the link has 4 of the 5 writers picking Demko to be on the team as a #2 or #3 and even Bieksa has been saying he same thing on HNIC
It sounds like you are a Leaf goaltending denier lol
Canucks would love to keep Demko because he is the one keeping them in games but they also have DiPietro and Artos Silvos and the goaltending guru that changed Markstrom’s game around and the Canucks are a good several years away from getting into the playoffs and doing damage so Vancouver should get as much draft picks and prospects to reshape the team with an actual plan
