Ruhwedel gonna get a solid raise somewhere this offseason. He's performed great.

Ya maybe he lands a one way deal as a team's permanent 7D, ala Chorney or Bortuzzo

PIT also only played 3 playoff teams in their last 15 games. They went 1-1-1 (the 1 win in a shootout to EDM) in those 3 games. You definitely got hurt at the right time, a very easy schedule.

It's the time of the year where it is widely regarded to be harder to play against loose non-playoff teams than against tight playoff teams.

I don't think that's a thing haha I mean I can see it being non playoff teams are tougher than usual to play against but they still aren't harder to play against than a playoff team. Like playing ARI, they might player harder now to play spoiler but they are still the Arizona Coyotes, they suck.

PIT faced bottom 10 teams 10 times in the last 15 games, 4 in the bottom 6. You've only faced 1 team in the top 10, CHI, and got crushed.

I'm not trying to take away from PIT winning with all of those injuries, it's impressive, it's just not very impressive when the opponents have been pretty bad.
