Here come the Boeser Rumors again

Created by: Justseth

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
NEW DETAILS: So this adds to the info on Boeser side, Since Kevin Allen said early today that he see the Penguins make a Pitch for Boeser. And people on this website have making mock trades and Jesus they have been terrible, this deal is more realistic of what could Pittsburgh offer, do i see us getting Boeser. Orginally no, but since good ol JR is back with Vancouver and since he said he makes trades were both sides can win, who know.(NOTE: This is my fifth time doing it and hopefully my last either these rumors will die or the trade actually happens. Or Boeser goes somewhere else)
Trades
PIT
  1. Boeser, Brock
Additional Details:
Ever since the Vancouver blows it up rumors started to circulate the first thing I saw here was Boeser to Pittsburgh at first I made it a joke because I didn't think Pittsburgh could afford boeser after this season. But they actually can with Malkin most likely not coming back after this year. So i made that trade on the right with others. Now here is the thing with this so far People are split with this. some people are saying that This is bad for Vancouver and how it a bunch of scraps even though Kapanen has shown his Potential, Legare is one of Pittsburgh best prospects who put up a point per game in Juniors and the first-round pick is a first-round pick no matter how you look at it. Then are people who say Vancouver takes this and runs which I don't know how this is bad for Pittsburgh. then there are people who say this is a fair trade for both sides. i Just don't know anymore with this webiste
VAN
  1. Angello, Anthony
  2. Kapanen, Kasperi
  3. Légaré, Nathan
  4. 2022 1st round pick (PIT)
  5. 2024 3rd round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
Originally had Petterson but a lot of people said they would rather have Kapanen because Vancouver would have too many LHD (copy and paste from my full deadline moves i made called going in for one more)

Penguins fans i am genuinely curious. Do you think some sort of Boeser for Marino swap is possible or fair? Canucks are desperate to add a top 4 RHD. I don't watch the pens too much so i'm not exactly sure of how the fan base views him but i know he's pretty good.

If we move Marino, we dont really have anyone to fill that top 4 role so I think I rather hold on to him.

Canucks aren’t trading Boeser unless it’s for a top pairing or at least top 4 RHD… people need to remember that Aquilini isn’t going to allow another rebuild and the intentions is not to try to rebuild

like Isaid he;s been link all year and Kevin Allen said today he is Pittsburgh making a pitch for Boeser but then again that's a rumor. I don't think Pittsburgh goes after him, i think if they going after a young RW he's gonna be on a deal worth that has 3 years or more.

I consider him are 2nd best defenseman, Our defense has been amazing, Letang hasn't been total crap and has been ok for how people view him, Petterson and Dumilon have been having great defensive stats this year, and Marino has stepped up Offensively with solid defensive stats, and Rudhwheel and Friedman have been great depth defenders

i found it on PuckEmpire instagram daily updates. IT the seventh slide and they credit Kevin Allan. PuckEmpire is right now, in my opinion the biggest NHL update accounts on Instagram (him and nhlbreakers), but other than that it;s been older rumors for thanksgiving for Boeser.

I don’t think they need a rebuild. Probably a top 5 pick, get rid of some dead cap and move JT Miller for a good package. And probably sign a 2 way forward like Palat in free agency

No way the pens are trading Marino unless they get a kings ransom in return. Pens weakest position is RHD. So trading away their future number 1 RHD just isn’t happening. The Marino-Pettersson pairing has been our best pairing too.
This is a pretty solid haul for Boeser tbh. Kapanen isn’t too much of a downgrade and would be cheaper. Could lock him up longer term for cheaper than Boeser. Plus you get a solid middle 6 potential PF prospect and depth power forward along with a 1st and 3rd.

Ya it's interesting. If the Canucks had even an average prospect pool I don't think they would need a rebuild because the core pieces are already in place, the problem is they don't have ANY A prospects except for MAYBE Rathbone.
The team has been trying to "re-tool" for years now and I think they are finally in a position they could possibly be successful in doing so, however I don't believe the patience is there form ownership. If the team was offered some really strong packages for Miller and Horvat I think they could potentially get significant enough returns that they could add some young top NHL prospects and some picks to replenish their prospect cupboards, then use the extra cap money to add a few pieces in the offseason.
The way I see it, in the best case scenario the Canucks are 3-4 years away from competing at which point both Miller and Horvat will be out of their primes, so I'm of the opinion it would be in best long term interests of the team to cash in on those assets now before the depreciate, then have a competitive roster for years thereafter.
csick liked this.

News Flash Franco:
You & your Canucks have been re-building since the 70s...

He's in this for the re-sale $$$, not the day-to-day ops or the here-&-now.
