I was thinking that on UFA'S the owning team should get the chance to match the offer and keep their player. Maybe set qualifing offers they have to meet, to even get that chance? Because the original team usually has the best shot to keep a player in real life. And then teams could buy rights to the FA's they want
This seems fair, I think we should do this.
On top of this idea, are we open to trading UFAs rights? Then the team that trades for them is allowed to set the starting price on UFA day
I'm also shopping Steen and a 3rd for a big forward, who can score some. To play w Tarasenko, open up space, cash in on rebounds
What about Dustin Brown? I know he isn't ideal, but maybe playing with a guy of Tarasenko's offensive ability could help him focus on just being physical and going to the dirty areas for goals?

Wait, are you offering Brown for Steen and a 3rd?
The draft pick would be coming from me in this deal I know haha, just putting a feeler out there. Had a honest season this year on a struggling Kings roster. But also has undeniable leadership as he captained the Kings to two Cups

Steen 15 goals, 50 points this year. Plays against teams top guys. Probably should've been the Cap. 50-60 points, almost every Full season the last handful of yrs
I'd trade for Steen if you took both Matt Beleskey and Kevan Miller as part of the return package.

I'll think about it
Okay, I'll go post a offer on your page and let me know on page once you've made a decision or want to negotiate
For the cap hit, he seems to be too much in a decline. No doubt he'd prob have better#'s w Tarasenko and that he's a true leader. But I think I'd rather have Steener

What if I threw a pick in?
If it was a good pick maybe. I'd have to look at my cap after some other deals happen first. We'll revisit.

Ok let me know what pick you'd see as fair. Go to my page once you have a idea. I have another possible deal in the works including Brown so maybe sooner than later would be ideal
So Tampa Bay FINALLY got the 7th round pick they wanted for Condra. I just feel like one year of Condra might help us and i think he could be an NHL player. And i only gave up a 7th!
I've got a bunch of veteran players on the last year of their contracts that could help out any contending teams. Looking for picks/prospects in return. They include;
Dank and Hank Sedin (7 million per)
Hornqvist (4.25 mill)
Mike Green (6 mill)
Sbisa (3.6 mill)
Lack (2.75 mill)
I'm willing to retain salary on one of these guys to get a better return as well.

Why is everyone double-trading? i don't mind ... like it's in the rules of this GM game, but i'm just curious why there's been so much double-trading.

In my case I ended up acquiring Hornqvist, Green and Lack as the secondary pieces in my deals. As a rebuilding team if I can get futures for them I will turn around and do it.

Teams with salary room and maybe more in the rebuilding mindset just trying to get most draft picks possible. At least that's my guess. Btw Canucks GM, I messaged on your team

Also for the right young player I'd be willing to move my 2017 1st round pick (currently 5th overall with Vegas factored in). Looking to accelerate the rebuild.
Shopping depth players for cheap. Picks or whatever
Depth like Sanford and Grigorenko?
Think I want to keep Sanford, I'm intrigued. Be willing to deal Grig, but currently am waiting on another deal.
Brodziak Bortuzzo Jaskin Rattie Lehtera could all be had for picks

I offered before but, both my 1sts and guy like Kenny aggasteno, for your 1st. He's leading the ahl by 20pts. As long as your pick stays top 5 after draft lottery
