GM Game Master Thread

OK. Here's a game that people can play if they want where people can pretend to be the GM of a team, and we can make trades and stuff as if it's the offseason (no vegas expansion trades until we get closer to the expansion draft, though you may talk about those trades). You may ask for a team, and i will give you that team if it isn't already taken. My favourite teams are the Rangers and Islanders tied, so i'll be the Islanders. Each person may only be the GM of one team.

Goaltending isn't the problem. Lehner had a bad night, yes, but for whole season he has been above average. The biggest need of the team is defense. Past Ristolainen and McCabe, they've been horrendous

Both, trust me, it's definitely a mixture of both.


Coaching isn't our biggest problem, but will probably change because it's easy to do so. Forward wise we're pretty good. Defense is what is sinking us

Bylsma has no idea what he is doing, if you want proof, Google "Bylsma's shortcomings aren't exactly new" and read the article and I think you'll get the picture.

Not sure if they're Left handed shots or right handed shots. Likely one of each (Markov, Alzner)

Anyone willing to give up anything at all for Nikolay Kulemin??? Nobody seems to want to.

Guys, i think Bylsma is an okay coach actually.

Looking for 2017 1st and 2nd round picks!

Looking for 1-2 1st round picks anywhere from 1-15 (but preferably a top 10).

I was thinking that on UFA'S the owning team should get the chance to match the offer and keep their player. Maybe set qualifing offers they have to meet, to even get that chance? Because the original team usually has the best shot to keep a player in real life. And then teams could buy rights to the FA's they want

Steen 15 goals, 50 points this year. Plays against teams top guys. Probably should've been the Cap. 50-60 points, almost every Full season the last handful of yrs

I'd trade for Steen if you took both Matt Beleskey and Kevan Miller as part of the return package.
